In my 10+ years of eCommerce experience, I've worked on many well-known eCommerce platforms like Magento, WooCommerce, Wix and BluCommerce (WordPress). Still, I think none give you as much flexibility, brand ownership and bang for your buck as Shopify does. While I'll work on other platforms to help my clients troubleshoot digital issues, I now only launch NEW eCommerce websites on Shopify. For businesses with no mid- to long-term eCommerce needs, I might also recommend the Wix platform as an alternative option for temporary or marketing-only websites, depending on the business's needs.

Shopify for Start-ups & Small Brands

Shopify can not only act as your eCommerce engine but also as a stock management, CMS and marketing system. Best of all, the day-to-day management doesn't have to include an often expensive design, eCommerce or marketing agency. With a few lite training sessions, I'm confident anyone able to navigate an email app will have no problem managing an eCommerce store's day-to-day needs on the Shopify Platform.

Shopify for Mid to Large Brands

Shopify is a fantastic platform because its features and costings can grow with your business. They offer multiple licenses with varying costs, culminating with their enterprise-level license called Shopify Plus. Each level of licensing grants a business expanded 'native' features and flexibility geared towards business growth and market expansion. Specifically, their Internationalisation features effortlessly allow your eCommerce business to evolve into multiple currencies, languages and geographic regions with little need for expensive site redesigns.
